On Saturday 19 October, the Excellence hotels in Clervaux, in partnership with the FSCL (Fédération Sportive du Cyclisme Luxembourgeois), are organising a special trip including a cycling tour of northern Luxembourg, led by former professional cyclist Frank Schleck.
On the programme: 50 km of discovery, a convivial evening and a conference recounting the life of this former professional cyclist. A not-to-be-missed event, open to all two-wheeled enthusiasts!
On this day, cycling enthusiasts and fans of regional discovery will have the unique opportunity to take part in a 50km road bike ride through the magnificent Clervaux region in the company of Frank Schleck, former professional cyclist, now national coach and coordinator of the FSCL, as well as the club’s young prowess.
Open to all, this cycling outing is the ideal opportunity to discover or rediscover the picturesque landscapes of the Clervaux region, while being accompanied by a cycling champion in the person of Frank Schleck, former professional racer and President of the FSCL.Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or just curious to enjoy a great day out on two wheels, this event has everything to please. After the ride, Frank Schleck will give a talk in one of the hotel’s seminar rooms. He will be recounting his
the life of a professional cyclist and all the sacrifices that go with it.
Participants will then be invited to a special aperitif, where Frank Schleck will give a welcome speech. A hot and cold buffet will then be served, along with unlimited drinks for an evening of conviviality and sharing.
Practical information and prices
The complete package for this event, including the bike ride, aperitif, buffet, drinks and conference, is priced at 99 euros per person. Accommodation at the Koener hotel and breakfast are not included in this price, and vary according to the choice of room.
Please note that in the event of very bad weather, a gravel ride will be offered as an alternative to the road trip.
